Jewellery Cleaning with Dish Washing Soap:
One of the DIY methods to keep

your jewels that are free from all the dust and stains. For this, you have to
take a bowl having lukewarm water in it. Now add a few drops or a small piece
of dishwashing soap or liquid in it. Stir the soap until it forms bubbles.
Place the jewellery items in it and keep it in the bowl for about ten minutes.
After this, take a brush preferably a toothbrush and start rubbing it on the
jewellery items. Once you have done all these steps, a complete shiny and clean
jewellery will appear. Never use boiling water as it will fade the shine of
stones and resultantly the stones will crack.
Baking Soda and Aluminum Foil:
Take a bowl layered with the
aluminum foil and add boiling water in it. After this, add two teaspoons of baking
soda in that bowl. Now place the jewellery in it and keep it for five to ten
minutes. Baking soda will remove all the tarnish and dirt giving you cleaned
and glamorous jewels. After putting it out from the bowl, you have to place it
under tap water and let it dry.
Coca Cola- The Best Cleaner of Jewellery:
Coca cola is the best jewellery
cleaner to remove all the stains, dirt, and tarnish from it. Initially take a
bowl and place the jewellery item in it that has stains or tarnish. Now pour
coca cola into the bowl. Keep the jewels in it for approximately sixty minutes.
After this, take the items out of coke and use a toothbrush to get rid of the
remaining residue. Now wash it with tap water and use a cloth to dry it.
Lemon and Salt Bath:
Take a bowl half-filled with
water and squeeze a lemon in it. Now add three tablespoons full of salt and
place the tarnished and dull pendant, bracelet, ring or whatever you want to
clean. Usually, the tarnish is tough to remove. But the solution of lemon and
salt will make a solution that is best for the removal of tarnish. Now take it
out of the bowl and dry it with the help of a clean, soft cloth.
Toothpaste and Jewellery Cleaning:
One of the easiest and quick
methods to remove the dirt from your jewels is the use of toothpaste. If you
are thinking that you have to mix the paste in a solution then you are wrong.
Apply the toothpaste directly on the required item and gently rub it with the
help of a soft toothbrush. This will remove the tarnish from each corner and
hidden area and you will get your new jewellery back.
All these are the DIY methods
that can give you complete cleaned and tarnish-free jewellery just like the new
one. Follow these methods and have shining and polished jewels.
